History of Development of the Nostratichesky Theory

Abstract

In the article, the essence of the nostratichesky theory reflecting theoretical regulations on the unity of origin of world languages reveals an analytical interpretation of the researches conducted so far in Azerbaijani linguistics according to this theory is given. The author's opinion about the basic principles of the nostratichesky concept is stated. In article works of linguists who conducted researches in the field are in detail commented. The author notes that further development of nostratichesky linguistics entirely depends on the readiness of researchers to overcome the problems described within the article. The stated scientific materials and results of this research have practical importance for nostratichesky linguistics in general.
