The Model of Speech Therapy Work With Children of Preschool Age With Dyslalia

Abstract

The article addresses dyslalia in preschool children. This study highlights the scientific views of domestic and foreign scientists on the diagnosis of dyslalia as a speech disorder. The study examines different approaches to dyslalia classification in the domestic and foreign literature, specifies the methodological principles of dyslalia correction in the context of speech development in preschool children, and characterises the main forms and types of dyslalia according to their causes and the number of affected sound groups. Special attention is paid to the timely detection and correction of speech disorders in children to prevent speech deficits, communication difficulties in social settings, and adverse effects on overall personality development.
