Sociocultural Aspects of the American English

Abstract

The study analyses the socio-cultural aspects of the American version of English. The author identifies and analyses the influence of social factors on this language. The study uses historical-comparative, historical-descriptive methods of linguistic research. A detailed picture of the development and formation of American English is given.
